AMbovent

As COVID-19 propagated around the globe, it brought to light a serious issue. As countries like the US and Russia were buying up the world’s stock of ventilators, poorer countries were left with little to no options to treat COVID patients. AmboVent attempted to be the solution to that problem: an open-source breathing machine that can be replicated cheaply with easily-accessible components. Our goal with the website was to raise funds to build 20 “master” machines to be sent to countries around the world so they could serve as the template for the thousands that would be needed.
